It was definitely a nice treat for the avid fan to be able to receive a bonus disc with some of Randy's definitive hits. I have been hearing 'Faith in You' playing on music platforms more often lately, and it is making me enjoy this instant classic more and more. I received a really poignant e-mail from a Randy Travis fan named Janet Brigham who actually already incorporated the song as her wedding anthem on June 14. I am sure the powerful lyrics and incredible melody made the song perfect for the wedding setting. I know I wouldn't be able to hold back a tear watching a newly married couple embrace to this moving ballad. I have the music video on my iPod and I enjoy taking a breather during a hectic day at work to relax and listen to 'Faith in You.' Congratulations to Janet and Dave!

I know I am not the only one looking forward to Randy's upcoming appearance on the David Letterman Show. The July 15th show should definitely be one of great music, as restless Randy's tour makes a pit stop in NYC for a 'late night' performance. What will he play? My guess would be a tender, ear-opening rendition of 'Faith in You.' The brass at Letterman know the drawing power this musician has and it is a smart and generous gesture to bring him before the millions of late night viewers.
