I dont think anyone in this country could possibly appreciate your music more than we do. My best friends daddy wore starched white shirts, buttoned at the neck. They also had chickens, if you know what I mean. I thought he walked on water. When I was in college in Missouri a few years back, my girlfriend and I (she is now my wife) came and saw you at a church in Kansas City. We had the opportunity to pray with you in the back room of that church, because my brother in law was the guy who actually produced the show and works for the church you were singing at. At sat through both shows as my wifes family was begging us to leave at the beginning of the second televised show. At the end of the show I gave a note to your bus driver about my life long friend whose dad had died while we were in college and I wanted you to call him. He never hard from you but he watched you that night on Christian TV and loved every minute of it. He and I grew up listening to your music and both of our Fathers loved your music. My dad is actually my step dad. He "Raised Me UP) if you know what I mean.
Being a poor kid growing up in Northeast Texas, you cannot believe how your music and life story has effected me.
The main purpose of my correspondence is to let you know that I wrote a song for you to record. It might be a long shot but I just want to know if there is anyway to get the demo into your hands just to let you listen to it one time, and see if you think it is a fit for you. It is a traditional country song with a Christian Theme. Titled "Back With You"

I just pray that I can get this song ito your hands somehow. And even if I cant... I pray that Randy Travis keeps doing what he is doing for God.
